SAT pressure

So, I just watched 'The Perfect Score' because I thought it might make me feel better and inspire me or something, but turns out no... just no. In fact, I might have to disagree.

Basically, the movie was about 6 people who wanted to pass the SAT, but do not have the brains for it. Well, some had the IQ but you know, nobody's perfect and everyone has got a war going on inside himself and we all have our own stories, so it's sort of hard to judge them. Anyway, they collaborated to steal the answers to the SAT, and as cliche as this may sound, it was a mission accomplished. They didn't really steal because some problems came up so they just helped each other and answered all the questions. In the end, nobody used it because 4 was smart enough, the other one played basketball for the school, and the other went to theater or something.

Okay, actually, there was just this one line that I would like to rant about. This sentence the other guy said who had himself caught so the other girl won't be but was soon bailed out by the girl anyway, and he said, 'After spending the night in jail, I've seen the worst person I could be if I didn't pass the SAT or something like that. I can't clearly remember.

I'm not exactly taking the SAT soon but something close, and that line doesn't really help. I mean, fine, maybe standardized tests cannot really 'define' who you are but whether you like it or not, it can define your future. I don't know but does anyone actually don't care about those kind of tests? I just... I can't imagine myself working at McDonald's for the rest of my life, nor in a call center agency, and being in jail is not even an option. I want to go to college and have a stable career after; and we all know that if you don't pass these exams, none of that is going to happen.

I tend to know all the greatest people in history dropped out of school like Albert Einstein, but I am not Albert Einstein. We are not Albert Einstein. I have never even wondered, not once in my life, why we aren't floating, or how anything works or what it's made of. So, I doubt I have a future of discovering why we are alive.

Plus, it's not just about us and our dreams. It's about all the people who believes in us, too. I don't want my life to revolve around standardized tests but don't you feel like sometimes, it's the only way to get to where you want to be?
